In the spirit of my upcoming trip to My Most Favorite Place on Earth (if that doesn't give it away...) I would like to reflect upon something. My childhood Bestie and I were huge Disney fans, and because of that, every time we went to Disneyland, we would dress up in themed ensembles. Most kids went in their favorite character costumes; Amber and I would wear Mickey Mouse overalls and visors complete with a Disney themed watch and necklace and any other Disney garb we could cram onto our already ostentatious outfits. We went every year with our Girl Scout troop, so we knew to plan ahead what crazy outfit would be worn for those glorious 16 hours of Park time.
Safe to say, I grew out of that phase, but my love for Disney has not altered in the least. But when it comes to an outfit worn at the park, I still put just as much effort into it as I did when I was eight; only now, there is are just tiny traces of Disneyism. For this Saturday, I have opted for the debut of my Disney Couture "Mrs. Potts" gold pendant necklace. There is a line called Disney Couture featuring Disney inspired jewelery. The best part is that they evoke the spirit of a true Disney fan without making the accessories too corny, making them fashionable enough to wear to a dinner party or a night at Disneyland :)
