I am on my way back to school, 99% yes. I got a call from Delta Airlines because I applied to be a flight Attendant; but I have to get a passport. So, we shall see what happens there. On the subject of college, I am going back for a bit. This brings to mind one of my most favorite styles: The Ivy Leaguer.
Of course, I am referring to the male aspect of the Ivy League look. The female aspect is too easily confused with the harlot look rocked by Britney Spears c. Baby, One more Time. I’m talking about over-sized v-neck sweaters (add 1000 points if it’s borrowed from your Grandpa), classic Levis, Letterman Jackets, saddle shoes!! Now, I’ve graduated from a University already but these days, my style is heading toward the extremely comfortable but I am leaning more toward the classic Ivy League look; like that Blazer I bought at the Thrift Store, the 100% Brown Wool one with elbow patches! I love the look, especially on men. A suit is sexy, but a man in tailored trousers that are rolled up with saddle shoes, accompanied by a sweater vest….stop I am melting. For the readers familiar with The Office, imagine: Andy Bernard – the extreme colors and patterns= A Perfectly Sexy Gentleman with a brain and a sense of style. Copying this style is just another way for me to combine the sexiest style I think there is for a man with what agrees with my style. Viola! You have Minnie Driver in Good Will Hunting.
