For my 100th Post, I thought it most appropriate to post about the show that is taking over my life. Although I am behind, I am catching up fast with MAD MEN!!!!! On top of the sexy bitch that is Donald Draper, you have countless styles envied by myself and surely any vintage lover out there. A reader of mine ;) suggested I start writing about the fashion of Mad Men. In honor of my 100th post, Mad Men will start making appearances in my blog!
We will be starting in Season 2. And this season, I have to have a pen and paper at all times to take notes! My intrigue was sparked by Trudy Campbell (Alison Brie). I love this dress! But for today’s standards I would prefer the bottom half to be a bit more fitted; almost pencil skirt-like.

Next to Trudy, Joan Holloway (Christina Hendricks) is my favorite fashionista of the bunch…..
The curvy bombshell is seen in nothing less than perfectly fitted clothing. Hendricks claims that her infamous strut in the show is due to the 1960’s undergarments she and all the other ladies on the show have to wear. Her purple casual Sunday wear contrasts best with her red hair. I am all about the contrast and with her bright head of hair, emerald green, purple, pink, black....yeah all the tones she wears look amazing on her!
