For the longest time, I have considered wanting to get into the fashion business.
First I thought I could be a designer, before high school, then I saw Project Runway and realized I don't have the patience for two amazing collections a year; plus my sewing skills suit me and me only.
Second, I thought I would be a fashion Photographer, which is still a possibility, but boy would I need to reshape the way I take photos! Again, the skills suit me and me only.
Third, maybe, a stylist! I love getting people dressed up! But as my sister will tell you, they are assholes. So I wonder if the fashion world is a nurturing and caring environment, that sounds stupid, lemme rephrase that. What do we perceive the fashion world to be? This is the question that turns many off of the idea of fashion. Why I am really asking is to discuss certain stereotypes. Anna Wintour, quoted from the Film The September Issue, stated that all of her siblings who are Editors for political newspapers and magazines, can not understand what exactly she does. So thoughts on what you perceive the fashion world to be?
