Trying to See Where the Snowflakes Were Born

Winter has finally reached San Diego!!!!!! This is by far my favorite time of year!!!! Well, in San Diego anyway. This is a mixture of fall and spring; everything is still green with some fall leaves, but it has that winter bite! You know, the bite that has you saying “Fuck me! It’s cold!”

The most wonderful time of the year means dressing with heavy layers and some of the coziest coats, scarves and gloves. I am a huge fan of the fingerless gloves; they are most practical, allowing for warmth and freedom for your fingers to text, drive and show off rings! I am making no sense. Regardless, layering is what’s up for the cold season. You can not get by in the winter without layering. Like today, I am wearing a blue polo dress, black leggings, a jean jacket, my favorite blue and white striped scarf, and some black and white striped fingerless gloves. Take that layering!!!!! I could have added a black hoodie! A word to the ladies, layering means getting creative with all of your clothes. By that I mean the clothes you store away for the season. Sometimes those will make the best outfits. Wear the bright yellows and pinks during this gloomy season. It truly does brighten the day up!! Like this adorable coat down below….
