The world is up in the air right now. First it was cold then it got hot, now it’s cold again. Makes you not give two hoots about bathing suits. Seeing as how I am being bombarded left and right with emails and catalogues for summer wear, specifically beachwear, let’s talk about bathing suits!!!!!
She wore an itsy bitsy teenie weenie, yellow polka dot bikini…something I would wear if I wasn’t so pale.
No seriously.
Men are stuck with the usual board shorts and their open gorgeous bodies…. *sigh* ..no Speedos *hurl* …..us ladies have the usual bikini. Luckily, I was a younger sister of an innovator. My Sister made a point to wear men’s black board shorts, with a little bitty bikini top. Superb! From the day I was able to wear a two piece, I never wore the regular bikini bottom, you know, the ones that look like underwear. Is no one else concerned with things riding up (?) cuz it happens. I liked the freedom of matching different patterns with my different patterned-bikini halter, while also having the freedom to run around comfortable! I girlied it up over the years by wearing the boy shorts and shorter board shorts, but the men’s style is so much cuter and they fit better, plus, I think the shorts elongated my already long frame, which I love. Keeps all the eyes on the top half ;) Whatever. It’s different and they are comfortable; fashionable and innovative, every time. Try it out.
