The Cobra Snake

This photographer I stumbled onto while I was researching an "It"girl. Her name is Cory Kennedy and his name is Mark The Cobra Snake. While perusing his website that is strictly party photos, you can't help but wonder how did someone get this gig? He is infamous for hitting parties left and right, shopping events, concerts, after parties, etc. He usually snaps off 100+ photos per event, one event per day! I love it! This is someone who just gets out there and mingles with his camera (that doesn't sound sexual ;).......

Not only am I envious of his ability to do that, he is amongst the fashionable elite of the West Coast! Remember my whole rant on San Diego, lacking in style, that the city is mostly governed by trends and big brands? We are a rich city, it does make sense. Well, he has found fashion on this coast.

What I love about his photos is, not only is he documenting some interesting happenings, he is taking very "fun" photos. Seriously, there is nothing boring about his photos, Granted there is nothing to his photos, they look like photos taken by a drunk scenester, but he is documenting. That's the beauty of it. Don't you just love the people that can take the most simple and obvious idea in the world and become famous for it!?

Oh and Cory Kennedy.....she is another one of my fashion crushes. In one of my Nylon magazines, I think the first issue I ever bought, she had a one page article on "MOM"Jeans. hahaha you know, the ones that are mid rise and have a long zipper to indicate a long crotch. Any who, there was a tiny bit of background on her, so I looked her up and she was all over the web!! Mind you she was only 17 when she hit it big as an Internet sensation. But she knows how to have fun with her clothes and she is gorgeous! I have followed her "career" if you can call it that, and she has done a little modeling but nothing big. She may be another Edie Sedgwick minus the drugs. She seems a little too innocent for that though.
